This week on the farm…

We accomplished our first big planting of the season this week, onions! 10,000 onion plants are now in the ground ready to thrive. This is our onion crop for the whole season, including all of our storage onions for the late fall and winter months. Onions are our biggest hand planting of the season, and our bodies sure are letting us know that! Sore to the bone but soaked with gratitude that it’s behind us and we now have the pleasure watching them grow.
