What our CSA is all about...

CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a common program amongst farms to offer affordable and secure local food to their community. In turn, these programs help sustain the farm with reliable income, especially in the spring, when there is more spending than making to get the season going. A typical CSA usually consists of an upfront investment at a discounted price from the customer, guaranteeing them a season's worth of food either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Many farms do vegetable boxes and/or meat boxes which include the vegetables in season and meats that are available. We chose to venture outside of this structure because we want our customers to choose what they want from the farm, not to just get what we give them. You can think of our CSA as a monthly subscription to the farm. When you sign up, you are charged the first of every month with the amount of your choosing, and in return you are given the freedom to shop with that money however you would like. We offer three different levels of payment, each with their own applied discounts (explained in detail below). The simplest way to put it is think of it as grocery shopping! This monthly subscription style of CSA gives our customers the freedom to buy whatever they would like through our online store, our meats, veggies, and eggs, and also a wide variety of local food from other small farms and businesses. Simply add whichever level you would like to your cart. We will then run the allotted amount and add the credit to your account. The prices you will then see when you shop are including the discount of the level you chose. After your credit is applied you are free to shop! See below what we offer in our CSA.
