Fall on the farm.

As the leaves say their final goodbye, we reflect and celebrate the beautiful autumn we were so humbled to witness. The warmth of the season allowed us to bring in our hefty fall harvests, wrap up our meat chicken production, and continue to graze our animals with more ease. We are now sitting in the celebration of 20,000 pounds of potatoes, 8,000 pounds of squash, and a total of 2,800 meat chickens. Along with these harvests we celebrate the thousands of pounds of food we have put out all season long, including our beautiful tomatoes, deeply loved beef and pork, and so much more.
We won’t be hanging up our hats just yet, as we have our big carrot and beet harvest coming in for the winter months, along with our final days with our beloved turkeys. We will be saying goodbye to them in just a few short weeks, and will process them with just as much love as we have put into raising them.
Overall, we are so grateful for this season and also so grateful for our bodies and minds to carry us through this life, to do what we do.
